Welcome to our March e-bulletin, bringing you news and information to help your business use energy more productively.
A new campaign aims to lower energy bills and improve comfort levels in average-performing NSW commercial office buildings.
The ‘No More Average Buildings’ campaign, a partnership between NABERS and the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage (OEH), offers a win-win for both building owners and tenants.
The campaign will see a financial support package for energy efficiency made available to owners and managers of office buildings in NSW with a NABERS energy assessment of three stars or less.
Higher NABERS energy-rated buildings have been shown to receive higher rents and have lower vacancy rates.
Tenants, meanwhile, enjoy lower energy bills and improved comfort levels, as energy efficient spaces typically have better climate control.Find out more

We’ve undertaken a range of initiatives, including a 100kW solar panel array that will significantly reduce the venue’s reliance on traditional energy sources, and a co-generation plant that is helping heat our swimming pool, domestic hot water and space heating systems.” Paul Briggs, project manager, Schwartz Family Company, owners of Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley, Lovedale Brewery and Hunter Valley Conference & Events Centre
