New business guide aims to maximise HVAC energy efficiency

A new guide aims to help you maximise the energy efficiency of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in your business.

HVAC can be a significant contributor to business energy use and operating costs. In commercial buildings, it can be the largest energy user.

The 20 strategies outlined in the new guide can save up to 50 per cent of total HVAC energy use. Unlike other more costly energy efficiency strategies, HVAC optimisation does not usually need much capital. Instead, it focuses on making the best use of existing systems.

Other benefits can include enhanced occupant comfort, improved reliability and reduced maintenance costs.
