I don’t have an idea to start, can I still come to the workshops?

Yes! You may have a brilliant idea you want to kickstart, or nothing but a burning desire to to make your community better. Lots of ideas or no idea, everyone is welcome.

What kind of idea or project do I need to have?

We are looking for people who have an idea, project or desire to work on environmentally-focussed work.

Is there an age limit to attend?

All ages are welcome, just bring a desire to learn and make a difference.

Who are Office of Environment and Heritage (OEH)?

OEH works with the community, cares for and protects NSW’s environment and heritage. This includes the natural environment, Aboriginal country, culture and heritage, and built heritage. By protecting, strengthening and making the most of a healthy environment and economy in NSW, OEH can effectively support the community, business and government.

Am I committed to anything after I attend?

We do not ask anything of you after you have attended. You never have to speak to us again if you like - but we hope that’s not the case! We hope that the workshop motivates you to commit to Starting Something amazing in your region and you connect with other like-minded people looking to make change.
